Some intractable problems always happen in our life. For examples, Some PC users want to share WMV files to their friends, but friends has Mac computers; I want to convert WMV to MP4, convert WMV to MOV, convert WMV to WAV, etc on my MacBook, but can’t find an easy tool to finish it, etc. Now I will recommend a Mac WMV Converter to solve all your WMV problems.

ITunes DRM files include AAC, M4V and M4P. If you don't remove itunes DRM it’s impossible to play them on any Apple incompatible devices, like Zune, Creative Zen, PSP, mobile Phone, etc. This turns out really bad if you want to buy a new mp3 player which is not manufactured by Apple.
So, The way not to delete itunes DRM files, you could try some methods or programs that remove DRM off of the iTunes files. Please note that using programs might be illegal in the country where you are living, make sure you know what you are doing before downloading and using them.
1. Remove iTunes DRM protection using iTunes + CD-R
Follow these 5 steps:
Create an iTunes playlist containing your purchased songs.
Insert a blank CD-R or a CD-RW.
Burn the playlist to disk.
Re-import the songs after a successful burn.
Deleting the original purchased tracks.
2. Remove iTunes DRM with DRM software in Windows

3. Remove iTunes DRM with Apple software in Leopard
The current iteration of iMovie released with the iLife '08 software bundle is iMovie 7.1. However, in order to remove DRM protection, you will need iMovie HD - previously bundled with iLife '06. Once downloaded and installed, start iMovie HD and 'Create a New Project' titled "DRM-free". Save the project to your Desktop.
In the iMovie window, select the 'Media' tab located between 'Themes' and 'Editing'. You will notice that the top right portion of the interface now offers a media browser. Select the 'Audio' tab and locate the playlist which contains purchased music, or search by artist / title.
Select the DRM-laden song and drag the file from the media browser into the iMovie timeline where it says "Drag audio here to build your project."
In order to export the song, iMovie requires that a visual image be associated with the audio track - iMovie thinks that it is going to be exporting a movie. Simply drag a blank image (or any other image) to the track above the previously imported audio file. Once iMovie has processed the image, select the 'Share…' sub menu item from found inside 'Share' in iMovie's menu bar.
Ensure that "Expert Settings" is selected in the "Compress movie for:" drop-down menu. Selecting 'Expert Settings' mode will provide the options to export the file as an audio file. Select the 'Share' button.
In the Save as… dialogue, select "Sound to AIFF" in the Export drop-down menu, Choose an appropriate directory for iMovie to export to, title the file, and select 'Save'. Depending on your machine configuration, iMovie will compress and export the movie project as an audio file in 15-40 seconds.
Locate the exported AIFF audio file and drag to your iTunes Library. Right-click on the file and select "Convert Selection to AAC". Once completed, 'Get Info' on the new file, edit meta data, add album art, and trash the originally purchased and AIFF audio files from your iTunes library.

Hi
I need to a ToString implementation for a property, is it possible?
Basically what I want is that if a DateTime Property has implemented ToString method to return date in particular format then that method should be called otherwise the normal method ToString should be called.
I am processing many properties of common objects in loop and if a datetime property is come across and if ToString is implemented as above then I should get datetime in particular format.

I have been looking at ANTS by Red Gate but would rather use an open source/community solution. Does any know for one which they would recommend? this subject does not have a great amount about it on net that is up to date.

Yesterday I downloaded Moyea video converter to convert swf (flash) files to mp4 for my iPod. The converter works fine and the videos come out in excellent quality when I try playing them on my iTunes, but when I put them on my iPod it only played audio and showed a black screen.
Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

Ah. So if I understand correctly then currently the way it works it:
1) On some schedule an executable is called
2) When called the executable hits a web-service
3) The web-service does all of the work to send the notifications
If that is the case then I'd personally recommend removing the web-service (unless you really need it to be a web-service and I'm missing something). As you get more and more clients the web service is going to take longer and longer to run and it is probably not code that you need to run inside your website. If you leave it there then you are going to need to deal with Application Pool Recycling. If you extract the code that sends the notifications into a new dll (assuming that it isn't already there) then you can de-couple the notifications and the website. Here are the steps:
1) Move as much of the notifications code into a new dll (for the sake of the example we'll call it crm.notifications.dll) and update the webservice code to make calls into it.
2) Create a new application (crmnotify.exe) that calls into the crm.notifications.dll when run.
3) Change the scheduler to point to the new executable
4) Delete the Web Service
At each step, nothing should break and you should be able to roll back fairly quickly if it does. Afterwards you don't need to expose the notification sending functionality to the web and you can move it to it's own server with ease at a later date if required.
I don't think that using a windows service over the scheduler is going to have any kind of performance impact (except to operations staff) but the more processing you can move off of your web-server ther better off you will be when it comes time to scale the application up. If you absolutely need to expose your notifications stuff as a web service then the situation becomes a little more complex.

I must tell u that we are moving towards the internet and users (customers,suppliers /distributors) will also access the application ,so we are expected more users then , so we just pondering the performance issue that may arrived ,so should v go for creating a windows service that calls the web service on regular interval ???, and if i want to extend theses alerts and go for the sms as well ??
I must tell u that its my first big business app that will be used by many internal and external users of our client.

I am working on CRM application in which i have to send customized application alerts (in the form of Emails) to customers on daily basis that are based on database for e.g (New price list,auto feedback,Service Level Alerts,New Arrivals Alert,Service Delivery Alert) , currently we have created exe file that is scheduled on windows server scheduler (in a LAN) and we moving outside LAN now, so i need your advise on better implement ion for this.
