My ninety-fifth podcast is up. In this end of year wrap-up, Carl and I chat about 2007. How was the year for Developers? For the Web?

If you have trouble downloading, or your download is slow, do try the torrent with µtorrent or another BitTorrent Downloader.

Do also remember the complete archives are always up and they have PDF Transcripts, a little known feature that show up a few weeks after each show.

Telerik is our sponsor for this show.

Check out their UI Suite of controls for ASP.NET. It's very hardcore stuff. One of the things I appreciate about Telerik is their commitment to completeness. For example, they have a page about their Right-to-Left support while some vendors have zero support, or don't bother testing. They also are committed to XHTML compliance and publish their roadmap. It's nice when your controls vendor is very transparent.

As I've said before this show comes to you with the audio expertise and stewardship of Carl Franklin. The name comes from Travis Illig, but the goal of the show is simple. Avoid wasting the listener's time. (and make the commute less boring)

Enjoy. Who knows what'll happen in the next show?

Hi Scott, give Warioware: Smooth Moves for WII a try. It's an awesome game that uses all of Wiimote capabilities.

On moving on to VS2008, although I'm using it as my primary IDE, I still find the need to have VS2005 installed, primarily because 3rd party products like K2 BlackPearl which we are using for our workflow solutions specifically required VS2005 Pro installed. That's about the only reason right now why we haven't moved to full VS2008 environment.

I enjoy listening to Hanselminutes. Keep up the good work!!

You mentioned Wasabi, a financial site in your podcast, and I believe it was wasabi.com. It however seems to be a protected site and I was looking for more information on it. Where can I go to get more information on the wasabi financial website?

Nice podcast Scott, but how could you not mention Windows Home Server? I think it was by far the best MS product of 2007.

Scott, you really put words to one of my thoughts on this episode, when you said that you get tired of playing a video-game when you get the feeling that it's you against the developer.

Really well put. There is a threshold when you pass the infatuation for the game and feel the repetetive element of a game.

Keep up the good work!
