For some reason, I just thought this screenshot was funny at 1:05AM. Something I'm working on in my spare time.

You know, that's starting to look like what movie producers seem to THINK computers look like. I mean, you've got the multiple windows of code, a webcam image in the corner, digits scrolling down a window in green on black... All you need is some distracting spinning graphics to complete it.

Mark W - that's exactly why I took the shot. And the sad part is, it wasn't staged. That was exactly what I needed to get the job done...I didn't rearrange any windows or anything.

Donk - I'm trying to use .NET and an external Serial IR board to remotely control a small robot running AtomBasic using PowerShell like "Logo."

I don't know which fact provides the more interesting insight into your personality - That you were working on something like this at 1 AM on a weeknight, or that you find humor in the screenshot. :)

Sounds like a fun project, Scott. Future Coding4Fun column?

I need more coffee. I mistyped my own email address. :p

Scott,

When you say using PowerShell like "Logo" are you refering to the fun little language that did a little project with Lego when I was in grade school called Lego TC Logo. Cause if so, that is hours and hours of enjoyment right there. BTW the turtle is the coolest little pointer I have seen for languages that can be taught to small children.

Hey Scott,
I didn't mean to offend or insult you with my stupid message...
It's just fun to see how much guys like you, and me, spends a lot of time hacking around these kind of things :-)
