My ninety-third podcast is up. Actually it was up two weeks ago, but I was on leave, so I'm catching up. In this episode, I talk to Jonathan 'Peli' de Halleux and Nikolai Tillmann from Microsoft Research about Pex, a Dynamic Analysis and Test Generator for .NET.

If you have trouble downloading, or your download is slow, do try the torrent with µtorrent or another BitTorrent Downloader.

Do also remember the complete archives are always up and they have PDF Transcripts, a little known feature that show up a few weeks after each show.

Telerik is our sponsor for this show.

Check out their UI Suite of controls for ASP.NET. It's very hardcore stuff. One of the things I appreciate about Telerik is their commitment to completeness. For example, they have a page about their Right-to-Left support while some vendors have zero support, or don't bother testing. They also are committed to XHTML compliance and publish their roadmap. It's nice when your controls vendor is very transparent.

As I've said before this show comes to you with the audio expertise and stewardship of Carl Franklin. The name comes from Travis Illig, but the goal of the show is simple. Avoid wasting the listener's time. (and make the commute less boring)

Enjoy. Who knows what'll happen in the next show?

This sounds like an incredibly exciting tool, and something I'd dedicate a build server to next week if I had it in my hands. So I'm surprised at not finding any mention of when this will be available in any form.

That's up in the air and I was able to published this podcast only if I promised not to talk about how it'll be made available. We had to cut that out of the podcast. Rest assured though there are ACTIVE and ongoing talks to get this product out to folks asap.

Scott,

I have been playing "catch up" on some episodes and I just listened to your discussion about Pex on the way to work this morning. It sounds extremely interesting, and I just wanted to echo the sentiments of several others that I am anxiously awaiting for a chance to get my hands on it.

I don't do TDD yet, but I'd like to. It seems Pex would be a great help in that direction.
