No "Open In New Tab" option in IE7 - Disable the Google Toolbar
If you're pained because right-clicking on a link in IE7 doesn't include an option for "Open in New Tab," you're likely running the Google Toolbar. Disable the Google Toolbar by right-clicking on the IE Toolbar and deselecting it.
You can also try installing the Google Toolbar T4 Beta; that worked for me.

i am a bit irritated that x is only shown on active tab.
well, they haven't forgot to misplace refresh and stop. i hope it's because they work hard on css compliance. :)
Why would you right click? Best feature in firefox and IE7 is clicking the mousewheel opens a link in a new tab. That one feature moved me to FireFox till IE7 gets a little more stable.
Thx for the tip. it frived me crasy, i reinstalled ie 3 times until i searched in google. BTW it doesn't work now (with the new ie7) even with beta 4 :(
