My Year In Blogging - 2005

Posted 2005-12-25 05:25 PM in Zenzo | ASP.NET | Ruby | Watir | DasBlog | Coding4Fun | TechEd | Speaking | NUnit | XML | Gaming | Tools.

I noticed that Russell Beattie listed his 496 posts of 2005. That's a lot of blogging. As we wind down 2005, here's everything I had to say in 2005 in DasBlog's calendar view.

A few highlights:

Some lowlights:

I'm looking forward to 2006, there's a lot of interesting stuff going on at work, I'll do a few INETA gigs including at a poor man's "Canadian Roadshow," we'll start doing Hanselminutes weekly in January (with thanks to Travis for the title), I'll continue with more Some Assembly Required articles, and maybe I'll get some sleep.

Now playing: Blaque - 808

And the other awesome thing about Zenzo being born in 2005 is the tax break you get for 2005... as opposed to having a January baby... you'd have to essentially wait the whole 12 months to reap the tax benefits.

Seriously though, Merry Christmas... and congrats on a wonderful year! May God bless you and your family!

I didn't think Watirmaker was a lowlight. I was able to take some great ideas from that and work that in with my automated script builder. It really helped me a lot because I was looking to want to do something like that and I think it worked out great for me. Thanks again for all the great work.
